Currently, we source the shareholding pattern for the companies from the BSE website.
Thus, the shareholding pattern is not available for the companies that are listed only on the NSE eg. Shriram Pistons, Mitcon Consultancy, ALL -E- Technologies, and others.
The reporting format of NSE and BSE is different and we are facing difficulties in sourcing the data from the .xml files on the NSE website.
@kowshick_kk Is there a way to build a screen to run against companies added in my watchlist(s) alone? Currently any screen runs against the entire listed companies space.
Yes you first need to create your particular screen and save it. It will appear in your profile under âcustom ratiosâ. Once thatâs done you can go to watchlist view and click on edit columns (it will be under user ratios) to insert your screen that you just saved.
In this screen I want to add option to track those companies which are trading at 52 weeks high after consolidating for some time such as 6 months or 1 year.
I could not find an existing ratio for Exponential Moving Averages. There are ratios for Displaced Moving Averages. Could one be added? Has anyone tried creating their own formula for EMA?
So i can create a watchlist in screener but can we add customized column like remarks in it? Ideally i would like to capture the prize and date at which i added the stock in watchlist. It will help in trackingâŚ
Hi Nimish, I am sorry, but it wouldnât be possible to build custom moving averages on the website at the moment.
As we are focussing on providing more features around the fundamental aspects of the company. We have only limited technical indicators like 50 & 200 Day EMA, RSI and MACD.
Hi @kowshick_kk
Is it possible to have a personal selection criteria?
There are some companies which I donât want to appear in my query result⌠I donât want to track those companies. So I want that there should be a selection tab from where I can select or deselect a stock to appear in queryâŚ
Problem also comes when start analysing the companies appearing in the query⌠if there are 50 or 100 companies appearing in a query then it is not possible to go deep in all the the companies. We do 10-15 at a time and there is no option available for us to mark that we have done these companies. Next time again the query will produce the same result and we have to remember which are the companies have already been done. A Yes/No filter may make our task much easier. It will allow me to select or deselct company to appear in the query.
Please check if itâs possible⌠It is going to save a lot of time
