Many a times we have noticed that the senior board members have voiced the importance of having an investment thesis for the companies we are invested in. While this does not mean to have a multi-page manuscript, we surely should try writing a 1-2 pager.
Attached below is the format of a thesis covering essential elements of publicly listed companies. Please refer it to draft your thesis (and share on VP to help other board members 
). I have also attached a filled-in paper for IGL.
