hey @sbkv, i agree to your point of view that eventually solar modules will be commodity play like sugar or steel, but the main point is when and how? If we take China market, its the pioneer of solar industry and innovation, there its commoditized across the value chain from mining to wafers to pv modules, technology upgradations also, in case of India, we started the solar wave recently due to PLI push and favorable laws to waaree and premier cos, due to laws there’s inhouse demand for made in pv modules, due to this aggressive demand everyone ramped up there expansion plans, to commercialize and fill the gap takes time, so in-between this there will be high margins and even co and i believe margin will expand even more for next couple of quarters, check china listed solar firms even they faced similar trend, so the day margins falls for 2 consecutive quarters is the red flag to book profits. so its Quick in and out stock, theme is decadal but returns i am not sure.
the management is very strong , their smart in backward integration to improve margin, also diversifying bets in hydrogen, battery energy storage system,

Setback For Solar Power? Government Discontinues Key Scheme For Manufacturers - YouTube

Custom department added back duties on Solar power companies on raw materials for solar products.

Ope the impact is only on Tata power, Adani renewables etc IPP companies

How much revenue can be realized out of this? and whats the time frame for the same

MOOWR scheme discontinuation might be positive for Waree? (Hurts competitors, no impact to them)

From their prospectus, it appears that they still should be exempted from customs duty under these two schemes
