Thank you for the reply. I see that PGEL is in stage2 since Jun 2020, in that case, how do time your entry, say in 2022, given that the stock is in stage 2 for more than a year.
Well - Stage 2 also has phases - early/mid/late stages.
Ideal entry is at early stage ie when S2 is starting - but that might not be possible most of the times.
In mid and late stage entries, one waits for the price to come to either 9 WEMA or 40 WEMA - daily MACD cycle to turn into buy mode - and start riding. Closing below 40 WEMA on weekend can act as a stop-loss level.

It is part of our core long-term portfolio- so we can answer promptly as we keep a daily track for the same.
Currently it needs to cross the nearby trading range (blue line)
After that it needs to cross the 61.8% of retracement (pink) of recent correction . That would be the first sign that next big wave of upside has started.

Got it. Any further reading material on this is appreciated.

We are keeping a close watch on this ( and also took the starting postion).
We could see an impulse from the bottom , hence got interested .
As of now , wiating for it to give a close above 40 WEMA for few weeks in coming months to add to the postion . We plan to take full position once it starts giving sustained closes above the red line (575-580).
Major worry is supply overhang ! Another challnege is overall market sentiments.Hence we feel that the best way is build positions in instalments on getting confirmations.at every level.

@StageInvesting so where does the Sensex and nifty 50 stand now. And if possible the nasdaq to get overall picture of the macro economic position of the charts
By the way I am becoming a huge fan of all your insights and valuable guidelines. Great contribution for the entire investing community. Keep up the good work
Thanks in advance
Thanks for your nice words.
Based on our last 2 years experience , we have stopped focusing on Index. To us , it seems to be managed and manipulated by few big hands .
Rather weâve started focusing on stock-specific set-ups . Thatâs why in last few months you would have relised that weâre no longer talking about Nifty or any other index.

We covered it when price was at 360.
It came down to 264 as projected in worst-case scenario.
Gave a fresh look - seems that it is in no mood to give any relief.

Generally we stay away from the crowded stocks which is discussed by every Tom ,Dick and Harry.
And especially at these kind of levels where everything about the company is well discovered as weâre not in slow- compounding game (we donât want to become rich slowly )
And over that theyâre not in some breakthrough/disruptive technology sector.
As far as chart is concerned- it is just gyrating in a range for last 15-16 months. Not sure whether it is in S-1 or S-3 stage.
Unless and untill it breaks the triangle on either side, we donât expect any significant movement.

Keep in consideration that this is positional portfolio- few stocks from this list might go to core-portfolio if the charts/fundamentals keep playing as per the expecatations.
If one analyses , we were kicked out of 7 set-ups out of 16. Lot of breakouts fizzling out .It shows the underlying weakness of the market⌠not a good time to take big exposure.
@StageInvesting - Have you looked at IEX after it corrected 50% all the way from 254 to 130 and has shown positive divergence on RSI weekly charts. Have you taken a look at their technicals off-late?
why was the post deleted , did not get chance to view it
Would it be possible to look at Jubilant Ingrevia. The fundamentals are not really great at this time, but technically would want your views.
Hi StageInvesting, what would be a good re entry price for Apar, I had entered Apar at 1900, avg buying price is 1950, but I was looking to add more. What could be a few good entry points, expecting the price to cool down a bit after this crazy run up
