apologies for inadvertently causing you worry. i didn’t mean without any idea, just that the mathematics involved corresponding to the moving average and price is a little nuanced, but the overall idea obviously we do get and are confident in the same too.

There is nothing special about the date calculation. Please go for a Friday one year and 6 months back closest to current date. The only point is to be consistent every week.
This is the beauty of systems based investing. Have rules for everything and follow it diligently.

Hi Sir,
If it is not a concern for you, could you share latest file as most of the stocks are matching as per your list but few stocks, order / ranking came out different for me in my working though i followed the same steps as you explained in the video. I could not figure out what mistake i made in this file. Based on the latest file i will cross verify what’s the issue. For example, Elecast is appearing in 2nd rank in my working
@hariharancj Its not a hassle, but I have to remove lots of personal data before I can share.
In the meantime, please check the look back dates; that is where we could end up with differences.
1 year - 12/05/2023
6 months - 10/11/2023
This might eliminate the differences.
You need to follow steps couple of times before you get the actual results.

Thank you so much Sir. I was reworking again in the morning and didn’t get 100% match in order / ranking. Will check again with the latest file as this helps a lot to spot the difference.
@visuarchie Hey, when creating the google sheet for the first time, do you get the table numbers of daily price from google finance on a real time basis? As my sheet is breaking apart because of the google finance formula everywhere, most of the time it saying “loading…” which is making it difficult for me to work on other formulas. Is there another way where i can just copy paste the daily data from somewhere reducing the load of the sheet to fetch data everytime?
Yes, it will break. Google finance can handle 299 requests per second.
Try doing stock by stock.
Change older one to only values will saves bandwidth and time.
@stuti_agarwal I have had the same problem several times. Update column by column (stock by stock) and then when the price has been pulled, copy / paste Special (values only) in the same place so that Network is not strained. Leave the last line alone as a formula so that you can extend it later.
If you working on this sheet, clearly you can copy the numbers on my sheet.
If you are working on a different set of stocks, another way would be to download historical data from NSE and then copy paste against the appropriate date. This is very tedious as you have to download csv data, Open in XL or Google Sheet and then copy paste appropriately.
I did the exercise for next week, and this is what I am getting. Does this match with yours? @visuarchie

@Anand_Jain Exactly i have also got the same order. Now since i am going to start this freshly, is it recommended to have equal weight age split across top 20 or shall we change weightage differently (ex: more weightage in Top 10 and balance in Bottom 10)?
As, 50DMA (19,915.6) > 200DMA (18,043.62), trust we can continue investing
