While consumer durable industry is having a good run with GST cuts & festive buying..
looking at the price action in JCHAC, it feels like this company is unmoved by all this. Even the recent LG IPO didnt warrant any movement…given this is at deep discount in comparison.
Any thoughts on the Bosch takeover and future growth prospects? Since Bosch is into washing machines, dishwashers and refridgerators..Im hopefull of a good future here..But what i would like to know is will Bosch merge this company with the kitchen appliance company?
Or does it plan to delist by giving us an open offer?
Yes Bosch has very good management and as far as I know they have merged it with there home comfort devision.
They have acquired JCHAC as there biggest acquisition in there history and as of now there automotive division is not doing good,so will try to concentrate on this.

can you pls elaborate on which metrics comparison this is at a deep discount to industry peers like voltas, blue star or even LG? Thanks!
You may wanna check it on P/B, P/S
Are there possibilities of this script getting delisted as Bosch may have stake by more than 75% after open offer ?
I see Bosch currently owns 74.2% of Johnson control Hitachi AC… while usually open offers are a mandatory step as per regulations while takeovers, as its current stake is very close to 75…I am not sure how this would turn out to be…If Bosch intend to delist, it may be an opportunistic start…but if they intend to remain listed, they would have to sell some stake later to come back to below 75%…i.e. if people tend in open offer and their stake becomes>75% due to it.
All above are assumptions, would be good to hear from someone who understands these open offers and maybe aware of vision of Bosch in India for this business…
