Wealth Manager of Indiaâs Billionaires | Groww Legends Ft. Manish Chokhani, Director, Enam Holdings
Iâve always believed that formal education is overrated, I guess more so in the age of AI (which this article shows). While one can argue that âwhy questionsâ are overdetermined but there is enough anecdotal evidence to prove that AI is warping the demand for fresh graduates (a friend of mine who runs a 400 employee software development company shared with me that he has stopped hiring fresh graduates). Another observation i have, sitting in the trenches myself, is: AI is asymmetrical benefitting professionals who were already great at their craft. I believe a variant of Matthewâs law will play out in the labour market in the age of AI (God gives more unto those who hath more)

Investorâs conference 2000.pdf (2.0 MB)
This Investor Round Table Conference was held at Cooch Behar, at The Cricket Club of India, on the 29th of January 2000. The eminent panel consisting of Indiaâs best-known investors discussed issues concerning capital markets in India.
Of course there are some big names there, but I was mainly interested in hearing the views of Mr Chandrakant Sampat. Many top shot investors regard him as their guru. Then there is a much younger Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. Another investor who is a veteran now, Ramesh Damani. There is also Bharat Shah.
The insights one gets are priceless.
Being a fly on the wall in this discussion is like finding a time machine. It was 2000. Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister.
It is interesting to see how much of the future they got right. Did they change their opinion, or would have?
