I started my investing journey when the incomes were low and investing tough. Many companies did not return your certificates after endorsing. Sub-brokers treated you with contempt. When I visited office of a famous company, the official there treated me like I didn’t exist. To him my 100 shares of about ₹2500 were piffling.
Then, even when I invested, I had no strength to retain them. I remember buying ICICI Bank for ₹42 and selling it for ₹45. The face-value was ₹10 then.
I must have started investing somewhat seriously in 2010s. And in real earnest after my retirement. Against all sane advice, I have invested all my retirement corpus in equity.
There have been some lucky hits and many silly misses. But learning all the time.
In fact, I was sick of “kitne tak jayega” type of conversation on stocks. Thats when the internet search has revealed this site. Of course often I feel like a primary student sitting in a PG class
