Goldiam International : A rare shareholder friendly and debt free Jewelry company

The new generation is environment conscious and they favour LGD rt ND. They are of the view no more mining and no more environment damage. Diamonds are forever but it seems like LGD will have a larger share of the pie in the future.

I think more than environmental consciousness, the narrative changed from diamonds are forever to blood diamonds. So many games and movies talked about diamonds being used for weapons trade. Kanye West even had a song about this. Natural diamonds just existed in the right moment for people who wanted something clean. The Kimberly process also had a big part to play.

  1. The dual casting method adopted to bypass tarrifs has made the company emerge stronger both in terms of bottom line and top line (as smaller player loose market share)

  2. ORIGEM has real advantage of better designs and better real estate (Malls vs High streets). Management is very mindful of not piling up losses and building it in a balanced way. FY27 target to close at 7 Cr per month or 85 Cr ARR. This would place them in top 5 players for sure . The B2C business will mostly be valued at better multiples

I like this post on Goldiam Int on X. Here’s the link - Kyro Ventures Research on X: "Goldiam International, Q1 FY27 - Let's start with the number almost nobody expects. 1. Realisation per piece, B2B exports: 2. Lab-grown jewellery — $722 (was $673) 3. Mined diamond jewellery — $495 (was $485) The lab-grown piece sells for about 46% more than the mined one. https://t.co/HsCKa6TIAo" / X.

Hope it is ok to share x here.
