Some satisfactory answers in concall and bit relieved after hearing the management from such a long break. Having bigger vessel for carnival in next 18 months and business back to pre covid level by Q4 are major take aways. Itā€™s just a matter of time for stock to reach the pre covid levels unless 2nd wave of covid hitsā€¦

was anyone able to find reasons for such a sharp drip in online gaming profitability in Q2 and Q3ā€¦I heard both the interview and emkay conference but didnt found anyone asking that question. regards

They did mention in the Emkay call that Q1 revenue from online gaming was an aberration. They mistook it as a trend and started spending a lot of money in ads and promotion. This was the reason for the poor EBIDTA numbers in Q2 and Q3. They have now stopped that extra promotion, so Q4 onward numbers should be decent.

Caraval Vesel:

  • Caraval vesel to may take 16-18 months to be operational.
  • Payback period may be 1 year.
  • Will cost 140Cr. Aprox for building the vesel.
  • This will double the capacity.

Integrated Casino:

  • 5 year plan.
  • May take about 5 years for completion.
  • That will alone be 2 times or more of capacity of offshore(comparing with offshore).

Daman:

  • High court hearing has started.
  • Casino infra is available. When approval comes, may take few months to get operational.

Nepal:

  • Nepal in lockdown immediately after opening.Yet to open.

Offshore Casino in Goa:

  • already reached pre-covid levels,

Results are out. Casino business shows good recovery, but the online gaming division continues to disappoint! Return on assets for this business is very poor. Overall YoY EPS shows a healthy jump of 100% ( EPS of 2.16 vs 1.07). With COVID cases on the rise, risk on the casino business remains high. Also, dividend of 1 Rs. Keen to know the mgmt commentary since all online businesses have shown a healthy growth, for Delta corp its otherwise

Did Delta corp do any concall for FY22 Q1 results? I did not find anything. Also, has anyone researched the ā€˜faboomā€™ platform they mentioned in their annual report. Did some google/Twitter search, couldnā€™t find anything significant. Please share if anyone has more info on these, thank you.

Although, the web page itself looks half baked with certain menu/widgets not clickable. Looks more like a take on Dream11. We all know the intense competition in this space with every cricketer endorsing these apps. Its a cash burn business, not sure what product innovation they have done.

Some 3 months ago, Jaydev Mody in an interview with a business channel( et now or cnbc) said that the government has intimated them of giving priority to other (important) pending matters over the daman casino court case, since the government is short on resources owing to the pandemic. And it will be sometime before even the matter is heard in the court.

Found above last order given on Daman case, seems like Daman UT is claiming they had changed the casino notification and hence there is no question of granting license.
