A few of us are planning an informal roundtable discussion on 12th September (Friday) from 12 noon onwards at Nehru Place, Delhi. The aim is to bring together a community of investors focused on value investing, particularly in small-cap and micro-cap companies that are fundamentally strong and capex-driven.
The purpose of this meetup is to exchange ideas and perspectives. We believe that discussing different viewpoints opens new dimensions, helping us look at things from different lenses. This process naturally increases knowledge, sharpens thinking, and enhances our ability to evaluate businesses and markets.
Discussion themes may include:
Market sentiment, liquidity flows, and valuation trends
Policy and tariff changes shaping domestic industries
Impact of erratic monsoons on crops, acreage, agri-input suppliers, processors, and rural demand
GST/tax-related changes relevant for mid-sized businesses
Independent perspectives on select companies and industries — growth drivers, risks, and outlook
This will be a participative discussion not a formal presentation. Each participant brings their observations, insights, and research to the table.

The idea is to have an open discussion where we can all learn from each other’s perspectives. It’s about exploring ideas, looking at things from different angles, and understanding markets and industries a bit better. The focus is on sharing observations and thought processes
It’s also a way to build a small community of investors in Delhi who enjoy thinking critically about businesses and markets. Everyone can take away insights that help them refine their own analysis and understanding.
This will be our first meetup, and I’m excited to get it started. We’re planning to accommodate the date and expect around 12–15 members to join. Currently, we are 4–5 members from backgrounds like business, job roles, and financial markets, with experience ranging from 10 to 40 years in stock market
We look forward to creating a space where like-minded people who are keen on value investing can come together, share ideas, and learn from each other.
