Hello everyone,

You must have already received an email from Satya (satya@vabbs.in) and a WhatsApp message with the details about the Delhi Investor Meetup — Small & Mid-cap Focus, happening on Saturday, 13th September from 12–2 PM.

I’m really grateful for the overwhelming response and enthusiasm from all of you! As we have limited slots (10–12 members) to ensure interactive and meaningful discussions, we’ve had to close the registration for now.

For those who couldn’t register this time, I sincerely appreciate your interest and will try to organize another meetup in the last week of September. I’ll keep you posted once the details are finalized.

Dear All,

I would like to sincerely thank everyone for joining the first-ever Delhi VP meetup. Your presence and thoughtful contributions made the discussion highly engaging and enriched the collective knowledge of the community.

A special thanks to the participants — Ashish Kila, Kashif Usman, Manish, Prateek Gupta, Vinod Garg, Sachin Birla, Nishant, Arun, Deepak Anand, and Bhalla Ji — for sharing valuable insights and perspectives that added immense depth to the conversations.

The discussions revolved around platform companies, the comparison of GST with the corporate tax cut of 2019, opportunities in auto ancillary, the outlook on gold and silver, including the government’s buying trend, as well as different investing frameworks. The diversity of views truly helped broaden perspectives.

For those who could not join us this time, we look forward to your participation in the next meetup, which we plan to organize within the next month.

We are excited to continue this journey of learning and collaboration, and to see the Delhi VP community grow stronger with each interaction.

Thank you! :folded_hands: We’ll plan the 2nd meetup in the last week of October or the first week of November. The objective is to build a strong professional community in Delhi where we can exchange ideas, gain fresh perspectives on common challenges, and help one another grow. Learning from each other not only broadens our outlook but also strengthens our professional journeys.

We are planning our second informal roundtable discussion in Delhi NCR and would like to invite like-minded investors to join at a mutually convenient time in the second–third week of June. The venue will be Nehru Place, Delhi, and further details will be shared once participation is confirmed.

The objective is to bring together a community focused on value investing in fundamentally strong businesses with a long-term, capex-driven outlook.

The idea is to exchange ideas and diverse perspectives. Informal yet structured discussions like these help broaden thinking, strengthen conviction, and improve our ability to evaluate businesses across cycles.

Key themes for discussion may include:

  • Ongoing FII selling pressure and its impact on domestic liquidity and market behaviour

  • Rising global and domestic bond yields and the emerging implications for equity valuations

  • Market sentiment, liquidity flows, and valuation trends

  • Policy, tariff, and regulatory developments shaping domestic industries

  • Independent views on select companies and sectors — growth drivers, risks, and medium-term outlook

  • Investment ideas across quality businesses and emerging opportunities

This will be a participative discussion, not a formal presentation. Each participant is encouraged to bring their own research, observations, and questions.
