WIPRO Buy back - A good bet for Short term

Street is extremely negative on this stock. Growth concerns and expensive valuation. Stock price is held up because of impending buyback (ex date is June 21);

Goldman’s target on this is 214, Morgan Stanley at 245 and Kotak at 270.

Offer Period for the Buyback of Equity Shares of the Company will open on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 and close on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at a price of ₹ 325/-

Why Premji’s stake in Wipro rose even after share sale

Premji’s group sold 7300 crore shares in buyback

Wipro to acquire US-based ITI for USD 45 million. Similar is the case with HCL. With Rishad Premji steering the company it will be good to add Wipro in watchlist.

Their freecash flow was 11760 cr - 10500 cr (buyback) = 1260 cr

The current share price has crossed the buyback price. I find that a little strange. The market is valuing the company more than the company is valuing itself.

why has there been a 20 percent correction in wipro so far ?
Help required

It is very difficult to answer why stock has fallen X% or rises X%. One can hazard a guess,
A) General market meltdown, all big caps and peers of Wipro have fallen.
B) All IT services stock were trading way above their long term average valuations, so market is correcting it.
C) There can be Industry/Company specific news also, which we are not aware of, though the possibility looks remote as of now.
