It will be helpful if you can enable suscription of threads. Ie wie when a thread is subscribed, and any new post is created in that, the subsribers will get an email notification about the new post.

Yes, I would love this too. I offer to implement this if given access 
Otherwise I can also write a crawler externally to keep pinging the site, but might cause load.
