Great and detailed study. I read the promoters’ future vision in 2018 (much before the listing) to make Vdeal systems Limited into Rs.500 cr market cap company. Even he himself studied automation later to bring automation in electrical panels. I find the promoter Dhiraj Kochar very ambitious .

My investment thesis for vdeal is

  1. Decent topline and bottom line growth.
  2. Positive operating cash flows.
  3. Company has a small base therefore has potential to grow very fast.
  4. The management seems to be clean, I wasn’t able to dig up any red flags on the management.
  5. Capacity under utilisation can be a major trigger here as the company can do 4x of whatever its doing now without any further capex.
  6. Deleveraging can also be a major trigger as they have stated that their debt will reduce by 30% and I believe the trend will continue in the future.
  7. The capital goods -electric equipments sector is also witnessing strong tailwinds .
  8. Considering all of the above points a pe of 20-25 seems reasonable. The risk to reward seems favourable.
