We have been getting news of container shortage since a long time like below-

Has anyone done any research on this topic and found any listed companies in this space?

I found only couple who have any mention of containers-

1. Lanacer Marine (One subsidiary involved in trading but not manufacturing)
   
   
2. Kalyani cast (Products – Kalyani Cast Tech Ltd) but these look like containers for road?

Theoretically it seems yes, but why Lancer’s stock price going down the drain?

I saw 2 reasons for the share price drop.

1. Their operating cost has got increased due to the red sea crisis. They are not using the suez cannel to reach Europe instead they go around Africa to avoid major damage.
2. Promotor is continuously selling their stake. This is a major red flag.
