Hey manan,
this one seems to be a novel idea.
Yet to explore before highlighting any feedback.

Bdw, which domain are you going to pay & use for a longer horizon so that I can book-mark accordingly before moving forward ?

It will be www.marketsignals.in you can bookmark this one.

Changelog:

  1. Added contact us page for easy reach.

  2. Fine tuned AI to give comprehensive reponse when clicked on Enlighten Me Button which considers all timelined version of events in easy to understand manner, with all key details. For eg you can check at https://marketsignals.in/enlighten/772

  3. To reduce spams and bots enforced captcha at the time of sign up.

  4. Considering to add few new categories in near future like promoter buying but it will trigger only if large quantity is bought. Also buybacks. If anyone wants more categories, please share your ideas, but it should give strong market signal. Thanks.

Hello @mannpatel,

This looks very interesting.
please consider rights issues category as well.
Also, apart from demergers, does this also cover mergers (amalgamation of one or more listed companies into another listed company)?
for example: Amalamation of ACC, Orient Cement into Ambuja Cements.

Hello, sure will include rights too. For now few amalgamations are captured but not all. Whereas all Demergers are captured. Right now only NSE companies are captured but soon will include BSE companies too.

Hey @mannpatel

This is a suggestion & would quite be helpful.

Since its a special situations discovery platform,
can it include a Merger calculator (since companies always gives swap ratios.),
which can be based on current (live) price. [ whenever such swaps are announced]

That would help exploiting the temporary price gap (arbitrage spread), if there is before the merger takes place.

And another suggestion.
Here is how the current landing page looks like.

At any of the landing page (HOME, or Demerger view all, etc) I am not able to have quick glance over what it is demerging into & what ratios.

And if I Enter into any demerger company, say HUL, here. This is how it looks like.

Even when clicking into company, it is only showing me its resulting entity, but again no ratio information readily available.

Is it possible to add a column in the landing page (HOME, or DEMERGER event list, or OPEN OFFER event list, or CAPEX event list, etc) itself titled “Details”, where at least basic info is given (Demerging company & ratio, or whatever relevant basic info) so that no one needs to go & download/view whole document just to read what it is going to demerge into & what ratio.

Similar single line details can be attributed to rights issue, or warrants or Mergers or QIP, etc.

That would add this website’s benefit multifold & easier for people to have glancing view, rather than going & opening whole pdf for basic details.

Thank you for providing insights, will surely look into both points, and find some way to implement these points into current system. Though it might take some time, but will surely work into it, like how it can be done. Also i agree with your both points.

Great work. Can you please add option to add watchlist by importing csv. This will help to add existing watchlist and portfolio from the broker.

Thank you for suggestion, this one is on my list, will add this feature in near future for sure. But please bear with me on timelines for implementation.

@vivek_lakhani @Vikramb9

Changelog:

  1. Added import csv feature in watchlist, if your imported companies already has past event it will auto sync and for new companies in your csv in which there are no past event it will come as monitoring

  2. Now event page of any company has all necessary details, if available in all past pdfs, eg like demerger ratio, etc etc. But if it is not available in pdfs it wont be there, for few companies it wont be there as this site has only past one year of data, and for new companies if that ratio or any details if not declared yet it wont be there.

  3. Right now only site is focusing on Demergers, if some mergers are getting captured in this category those are edge cases, will try to restrict strictly to demergers only.

  4. Now site captures daily announcements in four categories from BSE too, so now it tracks around 5000+ listed companies in india.

  5. In comming days new categories will be added like Buybacks, Rights, Big promoter buying etc.

@mannpatel

That’s a positive step in right direction.

But by adding details coloumn on any of the landing page I meant following. This is the sample I have created for better communicating what I intended to say. Marked with a RED box.

The Idea is, why we need everyone to go & check click Details tab under ACTION coloumn. It should be done only if user find the narrative interesting.

For that can we have a DETAILS coloumn like example above on all of the landing pages so that this tool becomes more effective & doesnt waste the precious time of users to click on every company just to see the overview of what company intends to do.

If an user find interesting than only he can go deep into the company specific details.

Let me know if this User Interface looks more practical than previous or Not.

Amazing.
World definitely needs more proactive developers like you.
Kudos.

I checked & its exactly what I envisioned.

Awaiting merger calculator based on swap ratios & Real time arbitrage spread.
(I know, I am asking too much…pls bear.. )

Bdw from merger I spotted a mistake upfront. May be it can persist in other companies too.
In the DEMERGER list, the 2nd company mentioned with the name DCW, is actually in the “MERGER” phase & not demerger.
[Merger Swap ratios

DTCPL: 0.79 DCW share for every 1 DTCPL share

SBPL: 1.33 DCW shares for every 1 SBPL share ]

This errors can be for many other companies across all type of events.
