Shareholding pattern

Goodevening members,

How do you analyse the shareholding patterns/DII/FII investments to understand good investment opportunities??

I came across few fundamentally strong growth stocks ( as per my limited analysis knowledge) but found decreasing dii and fii pattern.

How do I seprate wheat from chaff!

Very difficult to comment based on your supplied info. There could be many factors for an increase or decrease in FII / DII holdings. Ultimately they are also investors like you and me for the same reason (to make money).

Try to post your…so called fundamentally strong growth stocks so that people can comment on it.

Many hypothetical reasons may arise, DII and FII investment, both have their pros and cons.

Sirs,

Case in point Paramount Communication.
The promoters have reduced their holding from 53 to 49. FII have gone down from 53 to 49.

How do we analyse these figures?

What happened here? Where did the public shares go?

@R_Sawkar Could you please look into this and provide your insight?

I found this related news on NSE https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/KEYFINSERV_21012025130926_Outcomeofboardmeeting.pdf

What does this mean?

The company, Key FinServ, decided to cancel over 14.5 lakh shares worth Rs.10 each that were held by a trust called “Keynote Trust.” This reduces the total number of shares the company has, as approved by a legal body (NCLT Mumbai) on Jan 9, 2025. The decision was made in a meeting on Jan 21, 2025, following rules set by SEBI, which oversees stock market activities in India. Essentially, the company is shrinking its ownership structure to meet legal requirements.
