Running the stock screening only till specific date will allow user to check (what was the picture on that day!)

Yeah! It would be very nice if we can backtest the screeners for their historical returns.
Yes. Back-testing will be an useful introduction. This is planned for the next release. However I must warn you we have not made any progress on the same because of resource constraints at the moment.
