Reliance Capital- Growth at cheap Valuations?

so what has triggered todays huge fall ?
The news of RelCap exiting MF buisness is not somethhing new, isnt it ?

How does the forum feel about Anil ambani leading this firm? I understand Nissan is a 50 percent Jv holder in this firm.
Also, is this an asset light business?

Disc: Looking at it, as the valuations are attractive

I know it’s against forum rules and all and it’s your money, but this stock is like a burning coal.
And your money is paper.

Any way we can play this once the bidder and their valuation is finalised? Latest bids were in 5000 crore range and current market cap is 280 crore. The stock is ineligible to trade though

I’m pretty sure the equity is going to be written off as is done in most IBC cases. Better to stay away than speculate.

I am stuck with reliance capital from higher levels and unfortunately seems trapped, will the resolution help company and stock prices to gain strength ?

** Invested

Equity is written off in acquisitions, be carwful.

Please can you elaborate a little more, what I understand is equity will be consolidated.
Or my equity will be reduced (basically what I mean is capital reduction)

Haircuts are normally 90%.

Dear members

Is Anyone tracking the corporate developments??

Stock is not traded daily

Hinduja group has bid reliance capital for 10000 crore

The reliance capital stock is only allowed to trade on every Monday

The market cap is 240 cr

The share was on lower circuit last Monday .

Will the equity will be written off? If then to what extent?

I could not understand what is happening.

What is the catch here.

Can seniors please explain??

equity will be totally written off. anyone buying now will suffer huge losses. since the stock cannot be sold off later but will be extinguished, buyer will not be able to claim capital loss as well

dis: no holdings

this is classic, Equity Writing off case.

Same happened to many stocks in last 6 years. Example SINTEX.

SELL ON ANY OPPORTUNITY.
