I hold shares of torrent pharma which was purchased on 12th Jun 2013, management is giving bonus issue for the same in 1:1ratio. Now irealizedthat torrent pharma had book closure fromJune 12, 2013 to June 14, 2013 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of Payment of Dividend & AGM.
What is book closure for AGM? Will there be different book closure for bonus? If I wont be eligible for bonus would it be good if i sell this stock before AGM and repurchase after ex-bonus? or something else could be done?
