Preparing for flurry of IPOs from FY20 onwards

There was startup funding boom in India, in 2014 & 2015.
The median time taken for a startup from getting its first round of funding to its IPO is about 5-7 years, depending on the sector. Thus, IMO it is reasonable to expect a flurry of IPOs from FY20 onwards.

I bumped to an interesting Indian startup website (backed by Ratan Tata) which publishes sector wise reports in the startups: www.tracxn.com

I think, if we could spare sometime monthly to understand the dominant sectoral themes within startups and possibly even some particular companies within the popular sectors, we could be way ahead in terms of research when IPOs get floated 3-5 years down the line.

I would encourage fellow investors to look into the website mentioned above to find the reports (available for free I reckon).
