Is thematic investments good for people who don’t have much time to spend on researching companies but also don’t want to invest of mutual funds?
Does investing in themes work out in the long run or are themes just short lived ideas? Platform called smallcase.com launched yesterday, and I found the platform very interesting.
To test it out I have bought a theme which consists of companies outperforming the market over last 6-12 months period, but have underperformed recently.
But I’m still on the fence over if or not this will work. Thoughts?
