I thinks it’s related to their current account balance which Is in very large amount and it’s lying outside india but I read on equirus capital report that company is making their efforts to bring it back India in tax efficient manner let’s see.

Just sharing a contrarian view since the Goldman Sachs report couldn’t have been written more beautifully.
Although bankers try to make most margins out of IPO valuations but it does warrant a deeper look into their credibility post the bloodbath like the whole PayTM fiasco.
The Capital Quest | Paytm IPO lead bankers Morgan Stanley, Goldman now value stock 13-25% lower.

Yeah it’s true But if we see the camparsion they have done of Kpit tech with like Drlal path labs,Titan and jubilant ingrevia types by giving reference of catching up under penetrated market and for long term they are trading at premium valuation and still they are staying strong So you think it’s worth comparing of with these giants by giving such reference?

One has to see the future potential and what disruption KPIT will make in the Hydrogen space.
The valuation will automatically change once it triggers.

You are right on that but again individual valuations are dependent on management execution and not on the storyline they create.
Personally, the only things I read in such reports is market trends and size. Rest is mostly bs which has been scented and sweetened till infinity.

I don’t compare apples to oranges.
And not just GS report, I had to wait 38 pages in latest AR to read something meaningful apart from BMW collaboration and publishing an ad in VW internal magazine(lol).
Again, these are just personal views.

Credits should be given where they are due. They have been early adopters of better suited frameworks and should reap the benefits of the same.
For eg) The industry has been exploring Shift Left methods to enable gradual overlap of development
and validation cycle to accelerate product development, reduce cost and time to market. The Shift Left methods with virtual ECU (Digital twin of real ECU) and Virtual Test Platform have been implemented for electric powertrain component development within KPIT. In accordance with the various use case requirements across software development and maintenance cycle, varied fidelity of virtual ECU
implementations have been enabled for Battery Management System (BMS), On Board Charger (OBC)
and Inverter Control modules.
A short video describing what ECUs are. Imagine building small modules and rest getting auto-generated. That’s a really cool and developer aid friendly feature.

Another important trend caught: AUTOSAR OS multi core Optimizer and Simulator The automotive industry now is facing a migration from traditional single-core processors to parallel multicore
processors. The multi-core technology raises new challenges related to both timing predictability as well as to the possibility of obtaining a reasonable performance when executing embedded software.

Actual use of ML and not just a case of lucrative keywords thrown into the mix.
Optimization of Neural Network models using Glow Compiler and related patents being filed.

Any development with regards to Hydrogen fuel cell technology by KPIT ??

We shouldn’t expect much from them or any other rival to have much hands on in this tech at least since the base is itself in research. This is in reference to the changes Hydrogen conversion to electricity will require. Conversion is not an IT task. Powertrain changes will be the only ones different imo. Small client experience for KPIT was their partnership with CSIR, has successfully run trials of India’s first indigenously developed Hydrogen Fuel Cell (HFC) prototype : This experience and knowledge will enable KPIT to support its clients in the Automotive & Mobility ecosystem in their innovation towards the adoption of these new-age technologies. It is not their intention to manufacture fuel cells or any other hardware.

Good Q3 results, Revenue and EBITDA up both QOQ and YOY. New partnership with dSpace and Microsoft. Guides for 20% YOY growth for full FY22.

In the concall some asked about Aero space R&D but management have avoided it smartly & more over stress on 3-5yrs horizon in autonomous space, anybody have any info on that weather they are tracking space segment

But why are they recalling the cars?
Are the bug fixes not through over the air (OTA) firmware upgrade like smartphones?

They are recalling the cars to disable self driving option that allows the car automatically switch to Autonomous rolling stop in which vehicle moves slowly through stop sign without coming to a full stop it’s being done to avoid the risk of crash.
And they are not calling the cars the bug will fixed on OTA only
