Is fractional ownership of shares possible in India?

Is fractional ownership of shares possible in India? How? Are there any websites / apps which permit this?

In other words, if I have say Rs.37 or Rs.199 and I want to invest in a pre-defined portfolio (not a mutual fund) of say 15 stocks, or invest in a diversified portfolio including bonds & equities, is that possible? If not, why not?

A company which enables this in the US: https://www.acorns.com/.

Pse check out Smallcase offering by Zerodha on their platform. It has a pre-defined portfolio of approx 10 to 15 stocks. The definition of the portfolio will be based on Sectorial/ Thematic/ Model based (some screeners). Its about a year old now and hence does not have a track record.

I am invested in two smallcases and find its performance better than an MF
