Investment in Japanese Market

Dear Friends,

I have been going through annual meetings of Berkshire Hathaway and during the response to investors questions on why no investments are being made into japanese companies …often Warren and Charlie have responded by saying that though the companies were available cheap yet they were not interested as ROE of Japanese companies were very low and most Japanese companies were employee oriented and not business oriented… Charlie however had said in one of the meetings that …it is possible they might invest if they find these companies pass through their filters

Recently Warren has invested in quiet a few Japanese companies and so I think he might have a real good reason to invest in Japanese market rather than in US or India China etc

Seeking your views on the above…and also process to invest in Japanese market from India

Thanks
