How is the data for below group compiled? Only 2, 6 and 7 were from same group. Also now 7th Max healthcare owner is different, not the original max group. The others just have “max” in their name.

One other suggestion will be to maintina this list in some Google Sheet or Excel and share it to public with view access, so that list can be maintianed as time passes, since such a list will change very much over time.

Good iniative. May add tv18 as well in Ambani grp. Group wise as well can consider jr brother grp separately in Case of Ambani, Jindal and Goenka

It certainly serves the purpose to know Which company falls under which group. As you say you want a perfect list where it will accomodate any change of companies coming inside or outside the group…than let me know where i can find such information under one link ???

Exactly…Categorising different companies under some business group doesnt serve much useful purpose.

Rather i would request to categorise companies of same sectoral groups as per their market capital like

In case of Banking
Large cap are HDFC bank, ICICI bank, kotak

Midcap may be some other psu and smaller banks

Smallcap may be small banking companies …

Etc…This will give an elementary idea of different sectors and companies falling under that sectors and will be useful for investors who are constructing their portfolios or those who want to reconstruct the portfolio.

Sectoral groupification is very much available in websites like moneycontrol and others.
