In the vein of “if you torture data long enough, it admits to almost anything”, here is another article that explains the importance of striking a balance between analysing the numbers, and trusting your own intuition and knowing yourself.
This article makes some assumptions based on which they’ve modelled the data. They have also acknowledged the drawbacks of those assumptions. However, it has some fascinating observations about the impact of ageing populations on the supply-demand, and hence prices, of asset classes that are bets on economic growth.
Definitely food for thought.
