Exit strategy for DIY investing

I am a DIY investor and I have found a lot of resources on entry. However, there is very little on exit strategies. Invariably, many investors get caught on this. Can people provide some guidance on how to approach exits? Thanks in advance.

In an attempt to try and think about an investing conundrum in a clearer way, I have written down my thoughts (sort of a journal) in the note below.
