I am thinking of putting some money in ELSS for saving taxes. I went through some of the funds,historic returns and portfolio on ValueResearchOnline. Axis and Birla sunlife with 5 year CAGR of 19% and 16% look good but most of the stocks in their portfolio are large caps. So I am not sure whether they will be able to repeat the same performance. I am very new to ELSS. I would really appreciate inputs from seniors on how to select MF. Some recommendations will also help the cause.Thanks!
