MDR discussion in the parliament. It will get passed sooner or later. RBI gov Sanjay Malhotra had already said verbatim somebody has to pay for it. MDR will most certainly be passed onto the consumer, incentivising many of us who have not seen cash in years to start keeping some change maybe?
Maybe once MDR is in place, it may halt the fall in cash transactions. It may reduce at a slower rate.
RBI is also going to introduce Rs. 10 and Rs. 20
