Cafe Coffee Day - Will you Date?

declaration of default of 44 Cr of interest payment today

Total financial indebtedness of Listed Entity

including Short Term and Long Term Debt (1+2) have reduced if we check their last notification just before previous quarter results. This will go on.

Now stock is almost double from its 52 week low is it just occuring because of changing in company internal restructuring towards prioritising profit and reduction in debt or is it because of coffee production are coming good from other countries like brazil, vitenam and thereby reducing coffee price?

Here is the latest Ratings Update from ICRA

How to ‘READ’ this in the current context of the company?

Have taken just1 % exposure

They are working from 4-5 years on reducing the borrowing, which have reduced from 7K CR to 1.3K cr.

When they can come from that big number to this. I assume from past record the remaining will also be decreased. But the pace will be slower if they continue to reduce it from ongoing profit since their Fixed Asset has also reduced during reduction of debt journey.

Still the reserves is double to that of borrowing.

Lets see how things turnaround in next 1 year. As they are in restructuring process.

P.S. - I understand ICRA mentioned DEBT is including in this.
