Black Rose Industries Ltd (BRIL) - First Mover in Niche space

Hi,
I would also like to add that the company around 3 days ago filed a press release where it mentioned that the current market size for polyacrylamide solids is 1,00,000 MT per annum and the entire quantity is imported currently. The company filed for EC in May 2017 and received its environmental clearance in October 2018 to manufacture 10,000 MT Polyacrylamides solids and 40,000 MT liquids. On the other hand, SNF (a key competitor) also filed for EC to produce polyacrylamide solids (60,000 MT) and liquids (42,000 MT) in 2017, for which it still hasn’t received clearance.

With the planned capex of Rs. 60 crores for polyacrylamides and others, the company expects to generate additional sales of Rs. 300 crores (Asset Turnover of 5).

Also, as planned, Blackrose is expanding its current acrylamide capacity from 14,000 MT to 20,000 MT by Q3 2020. At the rate of Rs. 70 per Kg, the company can generate sales of Rs. 140 crores alone from acrylamide at 100% capacity utilisation.

I am attaching the press release of the company:
