Expansion of Indian naval fleet will result in lot of orders for fresh procurement as well as AMC for Avantel.
The policy is very clear that we are only going for Indian make in all defence procurements.

Yes but what I don’t understand is Market opportunity - there are no figures about how large the market is and what is market share of Avantel in the same. The problem with these companies is that they get orders based revenues so if in some years they don’t get orders, they won’t get revenues

Watch out small space satelites and radar space
This market is going to expand and companies like avantel if they get 150cr order , its more than sufficient for them to grow at decent rate

As per industry estimates, the global space economy grew 8% to US$ 546 billion in 2022. It is expected to grow 41% over the next five years.

Yet, at US$ 8.4 bn, the Indian space economy is not even 2% of the global space economy.

I see the glass as half full rather than half empty.

India is slowly getting ahead of Western economies like the US and Russia and has been the first to successfully land on the moon’s south pole.

As per ISRO, by 2025, the Indian space economy could grow to US$ 50 bn, an almost six times gain.

THUS OPPORTUNITIES & MARKETS ARE SUFFICIENT FOR THE NEXT DECADE. COULD BE A TIME WHEN INDIVIDUALS OWN SATELLITES.
JUST INVEST AT RIGHT TIME AS TODAY AT THE RIGHT PRICE.

Any comments on Avantel’s results? At first glance they look very disappointing. Sales down to 41 crore from 52 crore last year QoQ whereas the years previous three quarters did upwards of 50 easily. Out of these also, 17 crore is inventory of previous quarter which got executed I guess this quarter.

they seem to be good, yoy growth of 26% in PAT and OPM growing 8%+, my sense is we are obsessed with all companies needing to grow yoy and qoq in sales, profit, OPM etc.

We also tend to equate the stock performance with the results.

The company had guided Rs 200 crs sales in the AGM and they managed to show 225 Crs. For FY they grew revenue by 45% and PAT by 95%. For a company of this size they seemed to have done pretty well in my view.

They mentioned in AGM that they will be eligible for NSE listing in June 2024 and they will apply immediately. They have stated in the earnings filings that they intend to apply for NSEListing in June. Management does what is says.

Am holding this stock so may be biased.

Cost of materials is 19 Cr and change in inventories is -17 Cr. How? So they had only 2 Cr cost of material expenses? After all out of 19 Cr, 17 Cr would go into inventory. Help me make sense out of this
