July 2016, AIFL is a fashion house engaged in designing, branding,
marketing and retailing of intimate garments for men, women and
children. It products consists of lounge wear, sleep wear, innerwear and
sportswear etc. These products are marketed under its own brand
‘Valentine’. AIFL is mainly focused on loungewear and nightwear
products, which together contribute 88% of its sales. AIFL is different
from other branded innerwear and fashion garment players, as it has
created a niche market for loungewear products which is an emerging
trend. It has an in house design team which launches 1200 designs in any
season. Company has a strong distribution model with a network of 115
distributors and 15 carrying and forwarding agents catering to 14000
point of sales. On a standalone basis the company recorded revenue
CAGR of 29% whereas PAT grew at a CAGR of 44% in FY11-FY16.
