APL Apollo Tubes

Hello everyone,

I am looking to increase my holdings in APL Apollo. I missed the opportunity to add when it corrected post Q1 results, as I didn’t have sufficient funds back then. I continue to believe strongly in both the short-term and long-term story of the company.

My plan is to eventually start a monthly stock SIP, but before that I want to build a base position. In FY25, my average buy was in the 1420s. In FY26, it has gone up to the 1580s, though I haven’t added much so far. I am considering making a lump sum purchase around 1600 and then starting an SIP.

The dilemma I have is whether the stock will ever dip to 1600 again. Would appreciate suggestions on how best to approach this.

Value add is 57%, expect decent uptick, ebitda north of 425 cr. Rising HRC coil prices, might add some inventory gain element as well.
