Welspun has revised its vision 2020 to Vision 2022. The revised target include
- Debt Free (On a net debt basis)
- Revenue 2 Billion US Dollors
- Innovative products share of revenue 40%
- Branded products market share of revenues 25%
- Domestic market share of revenue at 20%
The company also claims in the AR that they have introduced a system called Wel-Trak for the following - Tracking Cotton from Farm to Factory;
- Vertically integrated manufacturing tracks
cotton from Spinning to Shipping and - Customer/ consumer level real-time review
and third party audit possible.
To meet target of
US$ 2 bn in revenue, they are
focusing on - new markets such as India, Europe, Japan etc.
- new channels such as e-commerce and hospitality
- new products such as flooring solutions and advanced textiles.
For achieving zero net debt, they are focusing on improving free cash flows by rationalising capex through ancillarisation and optimising working capital.
Apart from all the above the stock is correcting. Can any one highlight the missing links if any

DSP Blackrock MF buys 3.72 crore shares of Welspun India

DSP Blackrock Mutual Fund - Balanced Fund has bought 71,52,682 shares of Welspun India at Rs 72.70 per share and DSP Blackrock Mutual Fund - Micro Cap Fund has bought 1,65,06,190 shares at Rs 72.70.
Besides, DSP Blackrock Mutual Fund - Opportunities Fund bought 68,00,000 shares of the company at Rs 72.70 and DSP Blackrock Mutual Fund - Tax Saver Fund bought 67,85,420 shares at Rs 72.70. On the other hand, MGN Agro Properties has sold 4,80,96,381 shares of Welspun India at Rs 72.71 per share on the NSE on January 10, 2018.
MGN Agro properties is part of the promoter group
