I am a young 60-year-old retired recently with not knowing ABC of investment & share market till end May 2021, but I successfully accepted the challenge in my life. I have no liabilities in my life. My son is a regular reader of value picker forums.

I have the tendency to do lots of research for buying anything from needles to my own property & spend lots of time before making any final decision.

My son has found these typical hobbies since he started understanding life. On 25th May 2021 I opened my first value pickers forum account & on 26th may 2021 my son opened my Demat account. My son told me to read all the summary threads of VP moderators and famous individuals before starting investing in the share market. He has given me clear instructions that he is not going to advise what to buy & sell and do not do intraday or swing trading. He only gave the name of the best investment books on fundamental & technical analysis and web sites to learn about the share market.

Totally confused from where to start and picked up the material for reading. Start google searching and start learning any things and everything about technical & fundamentals. Within weeks I learned about all important fundamental ratios, top line, bottom line, valuation …. also, on technical all important candle patterns, all SMA & EMA 10, 20, 50, 100, 200… Ichimoku cloud, MACD, RSI, DMI, Fib retracement, accumulation, volume ….,

Before this, I did not know how to increase or decrease the size of a candle or screen. But around mid-June 2021, my son told me that you have read everything within a week and you have missed the value picker forum.
