I’m currently a b-tech 3rd yearite at IIT-G , i got interested in the field after reading Rich dad Poor dad and started a demat account at HDFC , but due to a lot of hidden charges i got angry and left . Then about three months ago i read a bit more about brokerages and demats and choose zerodha and got hassle free service. I read about six books and tried to read poor charlie’s almanac and the intelligent investor but i found them too difficult to understand. The book that has influenced me the most as a beginner is Rule 1 investor by Phil Town and his investment podcasts.
Now i’m really into the process and plan on doing this professionally .
To do that i’m planning to write the CFA level 1 exam , practicing more stock picking and reading about my favorite industry , beverages.
