Allow me to take you to my career journey.

• In my investment Journey of 10 years

• During my career journey I have learned to invest on my own, Initially began with News tips and lost 2 salaries in 10 mins of short sell trade.
  Almost in tears. My wife (Then Girlfriend) supported me to calm down and get back to my senses.

• One year passed I repeated same mistake again, Invested based on news tips and lost 99.99% of investment, invested 60k INR got back 564 rs for the same.

• Post that it never repeated, I kept reading again and again tried to understand companies and their competitive strength since last 6 years.

• Managed to Push my portfolio up 7 times in Covid 1 year. (Couple Millon INR from few lakhs investments)

• Since then, all the fight is to achieve 18 to 25% of long-term compounding.

• Understood that the PnL BS & CF statement are like report card of child.

• Its is a reflection of insight of how much company is serious about the guzzling the money.

• Beyond that I made a point to understand what promoter’s thought process.

• I sill keep on reading annual reports and draw inferences.

Things I need learning on:

• Understanding Quality of Succession planning.
• Assessment regarding having decadal view of company, so that paying High PE is fine as per DCF.
• How to stay firm if you believe in your thesis.

Apart from My investment journey:

• I am a music composer as well,
• I compose Dance music and Pop music.

In the career journey of 10 years:

• I have worked on various Investments & Business intelligence application.

• Co-developed product vision, strategy and roadmap covering full product development lifecycle.

• Experience in developing fully feature rich Order execution (OES) and order management system (OMS) in Microsoft.NET and Microsoft SQL server.

Development of bond calculation (YTM, YTC price, coupon) and schedule generation for fixed coupon paying bonds. adjusted for daily MTM.

• Hands on experience in Bloomberg ( TSOX) terminal.

-Proficient in fixed income calculations.
FX Options and Dual currency Investment (DCI) OMS and trade life cycle.
