My stock SIP strategy is very simple, I keep accumulating my stocks using this method until I have the desired amount invested in it. And once invested, I give it time to grow.

For example POLYCAB, I’ve already invested my desire amount in it and now my job is to review it quarterly and annually.

POLYCAB

SIP Start Date: from listing year 2019 to Aug.2024
SIP amount : 5000

I have kept the SIP amount statically at Rs.5000 and back test has been done accordingly. Since the share price is trading above Rs 5000 after January 2024, SIP is not considered.

I am wondering how different the results will be if we keep buying at lows, whenever the opportunity presents itself, perhaps before or after the results every quarter.

What is the strategy to accumulate stock in which date and in what price?

Actually, I have tried to keep it as simple as possible, if a stock closes in red on monthly chart then only I buy it and it has been working well for me.

Can you please explain why candles should be in Red?

It totally depends on the investor, some do SIP every month on a certain date, some accumulate when the stock falls by 5-10%. For me, monthly closing in red indicates a buying opportunity in fundamentally good stocks.
