Strategically, the entire stack is designed to work as a unified system: nuclear providing 24/7 baseload power critical for AI data centers, solar handling large-scale daytime generation; BESS smoothing intermittency and managing peak demand; and hydrogen acting as long-duration storage and industrial output.
However, the MoU is non-binding, meaning financial closure and execution timelines are still uncertain. It also excludes ongoing Adani–NPCIL nuclear discussions, and the involvement of a Chinese company like Sany could attract regulatory scrutiny.
If executed successfully, this project signals a structural shift in India’s energy policy by opening the door to private nuclear participation. At the same time, it positions India as a serious contender in building globally significant AI infrastructure backed by integrated energy systems.

I went through the NPCIL approved vendor list and made mapped them to what they supply to nuclear projects like Kudankulam.

L&T → BHEL → MIDHANI → Walchandnagar → Anup Engineering → ISGEC → Ratnamani

Sealmatic isn’t listed in mechanical seals, it beacuse the list is of 2020 and Sealmatic India received approval later?

yes didn’t find latest report but it surely would have been added to their list of 2026 Vendors list
Please check MTAR also.. It is having good scope in Nuclear Energy.. It is having 26% order book from Nuclear Energy

Yes, Mtar is doing the stuff, but the above list was exclusively for NPCIL-approved vendors. I’m Not sure about Mtar Being a Vendor for NPCIL

I don’t think that SAIL supplies seamless/welded pipes.
JSAW, Maharastra seamless ltd or ISMT are poineer in the seamless/welded pipe.
