There is no particular way to track newsprint price, I have tried calling up newsprint paper vendors listed on IndiaMart and have got a rought idea for the most recent prices.
Imported newsprint prices can be found through companies providing import data like zauba corp or screener.in but it comes with a lag of 1 - 2 months.
It appears that the newsprint prices have fallen. Last i had given a call to few vendors at the start of february, the prices were around 40-45 rs … depending on which area & quantity.
However, i believe prices have fallen down from Rs 52 high to ~Rs 43 per Kg
Cant confirm the prices though. Please do your own due diligence before investing.
