Microcap momentum portfolio

But can you invest in that index is also a question

There is one fund - Motilal Oswal Nifty Microcap 250 Index Fund.

The question really is what tweaks are necessary to generate a decent alpha that also covers for the tax (STCG) downside of employing such a momentum strategy.

With that fund into the equation, and without the availability of longer backtest results, this strategy does seem a bit less lucrative.

I had come across another person within the forum who follows similar strategy and had also generated significant alpha that I would have considered worth the effort. But even after such returns he was seriously considering just parking the money in momentum mutual funds.

@visuarchie sir i have a question here - gravita is basically not doing anything for the past 3 months and in fact is coming down slightly - so is my thinking correct that it entered this week’s list just because the others performing even worse?

@vamsi00797 You are right. We are with the strongest stocks from the index always.
