Yes I have already sold some of the higher valuation stocks like Nestle, TCS, Abbott, Titan, HDFC Life, HDFC AMC, etc. The problem now is it is difficult to find good quality stocks with decent valuation. Once such stocks I found was Alembic Pharma. Some more are in watchlist. Will slowly move to good opportunities at reasonable price. I know LTTS is costly but it is my latest addition and it zoomed just like that. I will wait for a quarter or two before deciding on LTTS. I am holding Biocon for a year now and the price is reasonable now and recent approvals will be good trigger for the stocks to slowly move up.
Hey @Malai_Subramanian … I’ve just seen that my name is now a part of your copycat pf. Just wanted to drop by and give a caveat since the 2 companies you have picked from my PF are Alembic pharma and intellect design arena… Ie the 2 companies in my PF with the least allocation and ones that im still slowly building positions in. Expect nothing for a few quarters or even years. For me those 2 companies are in a state of flux with their own issues (generics looks like it will be a washout for a long time and intellect has to go through a few quarters of pain at lower ebidta margins and before the steady saas revenues kick in) and I’m using this period to build a position at hopefully continued depressed valuations. So please consider that when tracking those 2 companies in your PF.
Allocations usually follow conviction and my highest allocations are in other companies (alembic has the least allocation of all my companies with just 1 tranche out of 10) so please keep that in mind. In fact you currently have more exposure to those than I do ie 7 percent of your PF… I myself will need a few quarters to build the necessary conviction and position in those 2 names so following me with those 2 would be a bit illadvised and very risky :). Cheers
Thanks @Malkd for the caveat. I have done my due diligence in the company’s inspired from your portfolio. On the allocation part I follow a different strategy and it is based on the market cap. I am still working on the allocation based on conviction and valuation. Slowly I will move to the new allocation strategy and it will take time. A big thank you for your portfolio thread as I learnt many useful tips from there. Cheers
Realigned the percentage based on invested amount in each stock/category/grouping rather than planned amount.

APLLTD is sold at cost price to reduce exposure to pharma and add to to higher convincing bet which has become more valuation friendly recently like Intellect, Vaibhav, Laurus, Sequent, Neuland, etc
There was a delay in monthly update due to Diwali.

Snapshot of my holding
Please note Happiest Minds is received as gift from my brother for my birthday. It is very miniscule quantity and not part of the portfolio.
Interesting, that’s a nice gift…how does one gift shares to another’s dmat? Did he first buy in his dmat and then tranfer to urs? (I guess that involves going to bank/broker and filling out physical forms) or is their any other efficient digital way of doing it? Thanks
Myself and my brother both use zerodha account hence the gifting of shares is very easy with nominal charges. All done digitally. How do I gift stocks?
