Hi Sanket,

a. For finding moat it depends on the business major contributor to revenue - for CRAMS it is primarily the scientists, client base and capacities. In my opinion a quality innovator client with long term contracts would be big positive.
b. For API - its more of commodity - prefer market leaders with almost no competition. Like in Divis. It has complete integration in terms of supply and produce (monopoly in Naproxen). So better check for the such monopolies.
c. How the innovator companies like BMS, Novartis work is their prime focus is on R&D and marketing. Its more profitable for them in drug discovery, marketing to physicians rather than competing with India in manufacturing. Simple economics where they cant win. So more resources are deployed for the other 2 verticals.
d. To understand about helathcare industry - as suggested video interview by Aditya Khemka sir and Sajal sir (unseenvalue) are good starting points.
