The Civil Aviation Minister said that the number of domestic passengers was 98,800 on August 23 and over 33 per cent of pre-Coronavirus figures have been achieved. He also said the bulk of pre-COVID-19 domestic air passenger traffic is likely to be back by Diwali this year. That is barely two months away.

If what he says comes true, the travel sector may see a bounce back much sooner than expected. People are waiting to travel. ITHL will be a big beneficiary of corporate travel and car rental. This temporary setback could be a blessing in disguise if they cut costs and shut down any unprofitable locations. The advantage with travel brokering is that risks are limited to the fixed costs. The risks which airlines have related to fuel costs and regulatory burdens do not exist.

Probably another cost cutting measure. The Chief Financial Officer has been replaced.

Earlier the MD and CS were replaced to save on salaries.
