The Hindu Business Line has recommended Birla Cable this morning. Though it’s a technical call, what is important is that the stock is gradually coming on the investment radar.

Today’s Economic Times has a full page article on the M.P.Birla group companies of which Birla Cables is a part. The group as whole has been growing rapidly over the last many years under the leadership of Harsh Vardhan Lodha. The article sheds valuable insights into the groups working:
“The listed trio of Universal Cables, Vindhya Telelinks and Birla Cables comprise the cables business, which is expected to be rejigged to simplify operations. From manufacturing a variety of capacitors, optic fibre, power and telecom cables to engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) contracts, the bet is 4G and, more importantly, the impending 5G revolution”
“Over the next two to three years, we will be comfortable with our position as well as industry growth. To derisk and expand our cables business, we may look overseas,” says Lodha
Can somebody shed light on
a. Will this price war effect the birla cable and other cable companies?
b. Although Birla cable export majorily to EU & MENA… but can this start price war among global companies?
